Perhaps this is the part of the narrative that PurseBop readers are most interested in. Anything more would just be icing on the cake for me after the experience I just had in the Garden.
Our hostess greeted us again and directed us to a desk in the ladies shoe area at the top of the landing. She recommended that we might be more at ease away from the throngs in the lobby. During our wait, one of her assistants came over to offer us coffee or champagne. We sipped in anticipation of the latter, which felt more suited for the occasion.
We sat for maybe 10 to 15 minutes, drinking and talking about the Garden, if my memory serves me well. The store space was bustling with colleagues and customers at the time. In the shoe section, a few other couples sat at desks behind me, waiting with bated breath. I noticed a few orange boxes being brought to their desks and tried to peep inside... I believe I noticed a Rose Sakura "in the loop" bag and a Gold Picotin. It wasn't easy to see, and I didn't want to come out as nosy (though I was). The bags in the shoe area, from what I could tell, were non-quota bags.
