The Neiman Marcus Group (NMG) named two senior executives to its management team on Friday, as the U.S. luxury retailer strives to improve its supply chain capabilities and technology expertise.
Amanda Martin has been named senior vice president, chief supply chain officer, and Vijay Karthik has been elevated to senior vice president, chief technology officer, at the Dallas-based corporation.
Martin will be in charge of all supply chain operations, including NMG's multi-year supply chain transformation, as well as the retailer's picture studio and customer service divisions in her new post.
Karthik will report to Bob Kupbens, chief product and technology officer, and will be responsible for directing end-to-end customer-facing IT development and architecture for the premium store, including omnichannel engineering, cloud platforms, operations and dependability, and architecture.
