Bottega Vetega is conducting a takeover on the Great Wall of China from January 6 to 12 in honor of Chinese New Year. Not only does the display feature Bottega Veneta's name and logo, but it also includes the characters, which means "Happy New Year." The installation is done in Bottega Veneta's characteristic green as well as a tangerine orange tint that the brand chose because it is a Chinese symbol for luck.
In conjunction with the acquisition, the Kering-owned brand has pledged a donation to the Shanhai Pass, one of the Great Wall of China's major passages and its easternmost stronghold. It's also conducting a Chinese New Year promotion, which features the same orange tone as the Great Wall installation.
