You know how you might feel like you've known something for a long time but never realized it? It was always there on the horizon, but you just didn't notice it?
Polene and I seem to have a similar dynamic. Polene is a French, family-owned fashion brand that I came across when I first discovered PurseBlog. It is located on the more economical end of the handbag spectrum. And, as you might expect, I didn't understand why Megs, Lucy, and members of the PurseForum (this discussion runs 216 pages and counting!) were aah-ing and ooh-ing over the brand's very simple leather silhouettes in my early days of navigating the glittery world of purses (my purse of choice was the Louis Vuitton x Stephen Sprouse Graffiti Speedy, in case you might ask).
Moving forward, as I go through phases of logomania, I've developed an appreciation for the textures and sorts of leathers used in handbags; my lambskin PS1 (and unwavering affection for the Sac de Jour) is proof of this shift in my preferences from my prior reliable Spiderman backpack.
Making a Case for Polene Bags - PurseBlog: Often compared with the likes of Hermès, Loewe, and Saint Laurent, Polene is a must-have for handbag lovers of every kind.
