With the casting of its Spring 2022 campaign, Prada has nailed it.

Prada began rolling out its Spring 2022 menswear campaign, starring the very affable and charismatic Tom Holland, only days after announcing Hunter Schafer as the face of their womenswear for the season. And what a pleasant surprise it was to find our own local Spider-Man fronting his first major fashion ad in our inboxes. (As well as for Prada!!!)

Holland appears in four diptychs shot by David Sims and creative directed by Ferdinando Verderi, wearing the Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada-designed collection. According to a press release, the goal was to portray the actor as himself, "re-contextualizing a figure known for his action hero plays" as "an embodiment of today's Prada man – a rich inner life informing his exterior projection of self."
