Michael Kors has announced intentions to sell children's apparel and accessories for both girls and boys in collaboration with Children Worldwide Fashion (CWF).
The first collection for girls will be released in spring 2022, with products ranging in age from four to fourteen. Pieces for the initial drop are inspired by Michael's women's collection, which includes branded activewear, jersey dresses, and fleece skirts. Swimwear, backpacks, and crossbody bags with the brand's unique pattern will also be included.
Later this year, the range will be expanded to include a baby line.
Givenchy, Chloé, and Lanvin are among the brands represented by CWF, a French company specializing in high-end children's clothing.
In a statement, Michael Kors CEO Josh Schulman stated, "We are excited to be entering the children's wear industry with CWF, whose expertise in translating premium fashion brands into children's garments and accessories is unsurpassed."
