On Thursday, the CFDA and IMG unveiled the official in-person lineup for the Fall 2022 season.
Despite an increase in Covid-19 instances in recent weeks, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and IMG issued the official New York Fashion Week Fall 2022 itinerary on Thursday. It is slated to take place Friday, Feb. 11 through Wednesday, Feb. 16.
As fashion prepares for its biannual worldwide marathon, a.k.a. Fashion Month, the ongoing global pandemic and its Omicron form has been a hot issue. In January, the British Fashion Council postponed its standalone men's line-up due to fears about the virus; Giorgio Armani canceled both his men's and women's couture shows, while Brunello Cucinelli canceled his Pitti Uomo appearance. It's business as usual in Paris, with Men's Fashion Week and Couture set for the end of the month.
