Dior is Next to Increase Prices

Dior is about to raise its prices.

 

As the new year begins, we hear about luxury labels raising their bag costs. Chanel was the subject of a recent article. Hermès always boosts prices in January, so the question in 2022 will be how much higher. Dior is the most recent brand to be projected to raise prices (with its sister company Louis Vuitton probably not far behind).

Here's what we know about the upcoming Dior price hikes thus far:

When: January 18th, 2019 (or thereabouts)

What: tiny leather products and handbags

How much: 10% to 15%

Where: At a least, the United States and Canada, but most likely the rest of the planet.

It's possible that no one should be surprised. In February 2021, Dior hiked pricing for the first time in nearly a year.

By today's high-end luxury standards (think Chanel and Louis Vuitton), that was a long time ago. During the epidemic, each of those brands saw multiple rises.
